    Some people say that when the moon lies on its back it is the sign of rain.
    The frog turns a golden brown when we a going to have fine weather but it turns green when we are going to have rain.
    South winds bring rain in Winter and heat in Summer
    A very red sunrise is the sign of rain and a red sunset is the sign of good weather.
    To see the clouds moveing quickly in the sky is the sign of a coming storm and rain.
    "Puss on the hearth with velvet paws wiping o'er her whiskered jaws is the sign of rain.
    When a dog eats grass it is the sign or rain.
    Smoke going up a chimney straight for a few hours is the sign of fine weather, but if it turns we are going to have rain soon.
    Swallows flying high is the sign of fine weather but if they are flying low it is the sign of rain.
    If we hear the train coming into the station a long way off it is the sign of fine weather.
