The stable is twenty five feet long and eighteen feet wide. The horses are shod by the Blacksmith who lives near-by. The horses are clipped in the autumn. No one of whom I have asked could tell me any story of famous hourses long ago.
We call the hens by saying "Tuk, Tuk, Tuk", When calling the ducks we say Fehny, Fehny, Fehny", If a person doesnt kill a hen on St. Martin's day it is said that all the fowl would die before the next St. Martin's day. When setting hatching eggs it is customary to put a mark on them, to distinguish them from other eggs which might be laid in the same nest
