  2. The Stanleys take the butter and potato and turnip crops as well. Farmers in the district will have no dealings with them. If they pass any remark about a beast it is sure to get sick or die. They never say "God bless it".
    When they took the butter from anyone Mrs Boyne (now deceased) got it back by means of a charm.
    Butter was taken from Kealys by a neighbour (not Stanleys) and Mrs. Boyne got it back for them.
