    Sometimes the Maw and O'Melaghlin were friends and allies. Other times they were the bitterest enemy's. In 1290 Carbery O'Melaghlin was slain by the Maw.
    A tunnel runs from Garry castle to Cloony castle + also to Ciaran Hill. There is supposed to be gold in the last mentioned one and people will it is said lose their lives to discover it.
