    together and come in and have a cup of tea. I then asked him what happened him to have him in such a state. Well he said I left Banagher about 12 o'clock and started to cycle home. It is 5 miles from Banagher to Cloghan. It was a moonlight night in the Autumn time of the year. When about a quarter of a mile from Banagher I reached "Ciarán Hill". It is a very steep one and supposed to contain hidden treasure. Underneath the little blackthorn bush on the roadside near the top of the hill he said I saw two very very old men with long beards sitting facing each other. Both were naked and looked very ghostly in the moonlight. One was shaving the other. It was a terrible sight he said and if I hadn't met you to tell you I would never have reached home.
