an old woman with blood pouring out of her side. The man went home and hung up the ladder. The next day the man churned and he was not five minutes churning until the butter was flowing over the sides of the churn. Once there was a woman who had a fairy well outside her door. She had no cows but each morning at four o'clock this woman would skim the well and churn the water. In this way she took everyone's butter. They went to the priest. The priest told them to skim the well before her. Two men agreed to do it. So this morning the men skimmed the well and drank the water. Then the woman went out to skim the well. When she found that the well was skimmed before her.
