    His father told him that he would be penniless and he melted the gold and built it into the garden wall while the son and other members of the family were at their dinner. Very few knew about it and those who did were afraid to go near it because if they were caught they would be evicted by Mr Armstrong out of their homes. It was never found from that day to this. The Priory was a monastery before the time of Cromwell and is now occupied by nuns.
