    (1.) You should not churn on May morning because the fairies will steal the butter.
    (2.) You should not throw out ashes on Monday because you are throwing out your luck for the rest of the week.
    (3.) When you cut your hair you should not burn it because when you die you will have to come back again to look for it.
    (4.) You should not open an umbrella in a house because it is unlucky.
