    November Night Customs
    (1) On November Night three basins are placed on the table, in which are put clay, water and a ring.
    Then some person is blindfolded and if the person puts his hand into the basin with the water (with) in it he will cross water first, or if he puts his hand into the basin with the clay in it he will die first, and if he puts his hand into the one with the ring in it he will get married first.
    (2) Every person puts a nut on the hot bar of the grate. The person who(o)se nut jumps first (he) will get married first.
    (3) On this night an apple is tied from the roof by a cord.
    Then each person puts his hands behind his back and tries to bite it.
    (4) On this night men go around from house to house dressed up in old clothes singing
