  1. There are three graveyards in this parish.
    There is one at Liss Church, another at Boher Chapel, and another at Lemonaghan where there is a ruined monastery.
    In Liss graveyard there are a lot of big beech trees growing, and there is one old tomb, which is erected over a man named Armstrong who lived in Castletown, Ballycumber, and on it is inscribed "The Saviour of Ireland," and the sun is said to never shine on it.
