  1. 1 A seventh son can cure ringworm but there must be no daughter between them. When he is curing it he must have a gold ring in his possession.
    A worm is put in the child's hand when he is born, and when the worm dies, the child can cure ringworm.
    His mother may teach him the prayer.
    2 Any persons of the following names can cure wildfire. Digans-Walsh-Fitzgerald. If the wild fire meets on your body you will die.
    3 Boiled buttermilk and sugar will cure a sore throat.
    4(a) Any child that never saw his father may cure whooping cough.
    (b) If two persons of the same name get married and make a wheaten cake and give it to anyone who has whooping cough it will cure it.
    (c) If there is a white horse going the road, and a person has the whooping cough, a hair of the horse's tail will cure it.
    5 Warts can be cured by the following ways.
    (a) If a person is going along a path, and sees a snail, and nibs it on his warts, it
