  1. A Song (continued)

There's a little dancing n your laughing Irish eyes

    (continued from previous page)
    mowing,
Kind nature supplies me with plenty,
I've a cellar well stored and plentiful board and a garden affords every dainty.
Draw near to my table my boys while you are able,
Let me not hear a word of complaining,
For the Jingling of glasses all music surpasses,
And I love to see bottles a draining
    III
    Let the mighty and great roll in splendour and state;
I envy them not I declare it,
I eat my own ham my chicken and lamb,
And I shear off its fleece and I wear it.
I have all the things in season both wood cock and pheasant.
I am here as a justice a quorum,
At my cabin for-end I have a bed for a friend, and a clean fireside and a jorum.
    IV
I have lawns, I've bowers, I've fruit, I have flowers
The lark is my morning alarmer,
So jolly boys now that follow the plough, Drink long live and jolly success to the farmer.
