  1. By wearing tight boots or shoes it causes Corns or Bunnions. The men and women who have them if they are doing anything in a bog go barefooted to cure them.
    By getting wet feet and not taking off boots and sitting near the fire it causes Chilblains and the best cure for them is to toast them at the fire.
    The water the feet are washed in is thrown out.
