On St Patrick's Day, everyone wears a piece of Shamrock or a badge.
Shrove Tuesday the first of March also called Pancake Night because everyone makes pancakes and puts a ring in them, and some keeps the ivy after Christmas to burn under them. Michaelmas Day some kills a goose or a cock and sprinkles a drop of the blood on the doorstep.
St. Stephen's Day, a crowd dresses up and decorates a holly-bush and goes from house to house singing the wren-song, some have music and they dance and the people give them money.- Collector
