  1. The following fields are to be found in the townland of Raheen,Parish of Ferns, Co. Wexford.
    Billy's Field: belongs to Mr. Patrick Kenny. About 70 years ago Billy Mannelly was murdered brutally under a hawthorn bush in the corner of this field. He was a travelling man and previous to his murder, he sold a small bullock. A man named Charles Murphy was accused for killing the man and it is said that he murdered him for his money.
    This man Charles Murphy was arrested and tried for the murder of Billy Mannelly. The evidence was clear. No proof could be got so the trial ended in aquittal for Murphy.
    Forge Field: This same Charles Murphy was a blacksmith who worked at his trade in the corner of a field belonging to Mr. Warren.
    Paragow (Pairc na Gaba) is a field belonging to Mr. Patrick Kenny.A blacksmith named Chandley had a forge on the land. The field at the opposite side is called Chandley's field.
    Cradle Field: belongs to Mr. Kelly. It is so called because it is shaped like a cradle.
