  1. 73
    To be said in bed
God keep the house from roof to floor.
The twelve Apostles Guard the door.
Four Great Angels round my bed.
Two at my feet and two at my head
    Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.
God bless the bed that I lie on.
Hear I lie for to sleep
I give my soul to God to keep.
And if I die before I wake.
I pray to God my soul to take.
    In the Morning
I arise from this bed of sleep, to Adore my God and to labour for the Salvation of my own soul, Oh may I rise Glorously on the last day. To be always united with Thee in Heaven To praise thee and love thee for ever.
