   the stony hollow. There are two ruins of houses in this townland. There is one river in the townland and the Bean-sidhe was heard crying by the side of the river the time Miss Maggie Gahan of Mullawn died about the year 1932.

2. Our Holy Wells

   There is a holy well at the bottom of the priest's field in Monamolin (parish of Litter). It is built with stone at three sides, in front is a gate, and on top is stone and grass on top of it.
   It is called St Moling's Well. People use water out of it for tea.

   There is a holy well in my district (i.e. in the townland of Mount George) called Maune'ens Well. It is overshadowed by a whitethorn. People go there to get warts cured by washing the wart in the water. They leave some blest object after them, they hang them on the thorn. There is a stone with a hollow in it the shape of a saucer
