removed the last trace of warts from my hands.
Next day some business took me up the street towards Mrs Meyler's house and again she appeared at the door and advanced towards me. She did not look at my hands or ask me if the warts were going away but simply "How did they go away." I said "They disappeared almost unknown to me except one -" She interrupted me here with the remark "I know about that one. It grew out of the bone. You washed your hands in egg water" and again turning suddenly away she was gone before I could even attempt to express my gratitude.
Mrs Myler lived for some years after but never did she come out of her house to meet and speak to me except on these two occasions.
I have related the above to priests and doctors and it appears as great a mystery to them as it is to me.
