  1. Some people are very good at curing things such as stopping blood and curing warts etc
Mr Cosgrave is one man that is able to cure warts. The way he does it he gets a basin of water and a little knot of a piece of straw. He rubs the wart with the knot and then he puts it in the basin of water.
When this done he makes a hole and puts the water and the knot in the hole and covers it.
While he is curing the wart there is no man allowed to say one word I suppose whilst he is curing the wart he says a little prayer.
    2
To cure a wart rub them three or four times with a potato, Cut off one end and rub with the freshly cut part.
A slice should be cut off after each rubbing.
