When it came to nine o'clock the doors were shut and there was no sign of the baker stiring but stayed there till half past nine. He then went on his way home and he had to go through a dark grove.
When he came to this place he thought he saw the dead coach and he blessed himself several times but it came nearer and nearer till it made him sober.
