    The way people make potato bread around here is; they first peel the potatoes then they boil them and when they are boiled they mash them and mix flour, salt and a little newmilk or water with the potatoes.
    When they have all mixed they bake it in little cakes on the pan.
    The way people make colcannon around here is; they first peel the potatoes then boil and mash them. Then they put salt and warmed newmilk and a cut up oinion (sic) in the mashed potatoes and mix all together.
