had cattle away from home they got hard to attend to them. When the blizzard cleared all the farmers went through their property to see if they had met any losses. In this district there were very little damage done. We were luckier than most people. It took about a week to melt the drifts away and people were much relieved when they saw the last of it but they will never forget it while they live.
