    dug they are brought home and put in a heap and covered with rushes. They are left there for a while then the rushes are taken off them and a light coat of rushes is put on them. Then they are covered with clay so that no frost will get at them.
    In this district there are other foods made with potatoes namely, rasp, potatobread and colcannon.
    The way people made rasp around here is; they first peel the potatoes then they grate them with an article which is called a grater.
