    said Cruel Mc Carthy. Cruel Mc Carthy and from that day until this no man of the name of Mc Carthy can go out on that lake even in a boat. The last man of the name Mc Carthy that was drowned was a policeman and also his two comrades in Ballinalee when out fishing.
