  1. There are many ancient forts around my place some of which have very old traditions. There is a fort in Nahad More in the land of Mr. Darcy, and there was a herd about thirty years ago and he cut a bush in the middle of the fort. He was minding ewes that night in the same field and about mid-night he was fired with snow balls and a crowd of people gathered around and jeered and shouted him. In the Winter at the present time huntsmen are seen hunting around this fort. About fifteen years ago I know two men that saw a motar car leaving the fort with no wheels on it, sliding along the ground with two men in it and no heads on them and travelling in the direction of another
