    Section 54
There is an old legend in existence about a Milesian princess, a daughter of O'Melachlin, King of Meath, who lived in Cro Inis one of the islands of Lough Ennel, visiting Moate and taking on herself the Office of Brehon and it is said that she delivered the oral law from the Hill of Knockdominy to the good- law-abiding citizens of the Clara Road and the Gap of the Wood; but times are sadly changed.
