    13. If you stir tea with the handle of a knife you won't have luck for 3 years.
    14. When a hen comes in to the house with a straw hanging from her feathers it is a sign some stranger is coming to the house.

    Once upon a time a man lived in the Castle, Moate. Going out one evening to milk his cow he met his death, as the cow kicked him in the stomach. He was taken in to his bed where he was dying. Here he said to his wife that there was an ugly black cat in the bed, and for her to take out the cat. The next day he died, and they buried
