  1. A boy was one day herding cows and sheep along the roadside when the parish priest came along.
    He asked the boy if he knew the Lord's Prayer and he said that he did.
    The priest then said to him, "If you can say the Lord's Prayer without thinking of your cows, or sheep, or anything else, I will give you my pony and trap.
    The boy started the prayer and had not gone far when he suddenly stopped and said to the priest, "and will ye throw in the harness, too, Father."
