  1. Once a gentleman asked a boy on the roadway to mind his horse for him while he went into a shop.
On coming out of the shop, the gentleman took the reins from the boy, saying, "Thank you", as he did so.
Just as he was about to drive off the boy said, "Excuse me, sir, if the other boys ask me what you gave me, what shall I say?"
    A bit tough.
Paddy, while in the States, went one day info a coffee stall and asked for a pie.
After taking a bite out of it he said to the Shopman, "what in the world is this pie made out of it"?
"Oh", said the shopman, "I put in a little horse's flesh".
"Arrah"! said Paddy, "and why didn't your take off his harness."
