  1. Once upon a time a man was walking along the road carrying a gallon of milk.
    He went into a house and got a little kitten there.
    He carried her for a good bit of the road until he saw some of his pals coming along the road.
    He did not want them to see the kitten and so he put it into the milk and of course it was drowned.
    When he reached the other boys they asked him for a drink.
    He gave the gallon to each of them in turn.
    When it came to the last one, the owner of the gallon said, "Take care, Micky my boy, and mind would you drink the kitten"
