Ar an leathanach seo
- Many travelling folk come to our district and go from door to door looking for alms. Many of the same bands have been doing so for a number of years.
Most of them are very poor so that they have to sell small articles such as boot laces and shirt studs.
They obtain their supplies from the shopkeepers in the town and accept them as alms.
They sleep in caravan parked on the side of the road.
