  1. Two years ago Mr. John Daly of Kilbeggan had a cow which gave birth to a calf with two heads. Crowds of people from the surrounding districts came to see it. On one occasion a fight took place. Then the local police shot the calf and Mr. Daly was given compensation for the loss. About forty years ago a cow owned by James Walsh Castletown - Geo; gave birth to two calves. One of the calves had two heads and six legs. The local police were informed about it and they shot it.
