  1. There are four churchyards in the parish. There is one in Tyrrellspass, one in Bulrath, and two in Castletown, an old one and a new one. They are all in use except the old graveyard in Castletown - Geo, and it is closed. The new graveyard in Castletown - Geo, is square and the old one is round. There are the ruins of an old Church in the old graveyard beside the village. The old churchyard contains monuments, crosses, and old tombs. There are trees growing in it also.
