- Peggy Winslow dead about six years remembered the great meeting of Tara. She did not attend it herself but she said that she could hear the cheers of the people. She also remembered "the Big Wind" in 1838. This wind blew the roof off Kilskyre Church and Mr. Carney gave the money to get a new one replaced.There was also a big thunder storm in August 1914.Before the last great war the "Aurora-Borea-Alis" was seen in the sky but nothing has(continues on next page)
