    In Autumn when the potatoes are fit to be dug the farmer pairs the drills with a plough. Then he begins to dig them, he leaves the stalks in the ally of the drill and the potatoes in a row on the drill. In the evening they begin to pick, one picks the big ones and the other the small ones. When they have finished they cover the potatoes with clay.
