  1. Along time ago before Muff farm was divided the McEvoy family was in possession of Muff. It so happened that during their labours one day they removed a stone from "Nobber Beag" It was a big stone so it took considerable strength to move it.
    The night after the stone being removed the yard was in an uproar. Some ghostly voice called out very loudly "Leave back the stone" "Leave back the stone". The family were filled with terror and they were also very
