    The cure for a sick stomach is to lift water out of a river that divides (the) two parishes the oppisite way the river is running and drink it and is said it cure it.
    Sting
    The cure for a sting of a nettle is to rub the juice of a dock-leaf on the sting and it will cure it.
    Mumps
    A cure for mumps is to roast salt and put it in a piece of cloth and tie it round your neck.
