    I give my soul to God to keep.
    I If any evil comes to me
    O Blessed Lady waken me.
    There are four corners round my bed.
    There are four angels round it spread.
    Sts Mattkew, Mark, Luke and John.
    God bless the bed that I lie on.
    May the Lord be the branch.
    And Mary be flower.
    I pray to Lord Jesus to protect me forever.
