  1. A Tállach: on wrist: bathe in urine. (unfailing cure.)
    For a cold: Garlic root, boiled add new milk and any flavouring desired.
    For blackleg in calves: Garlic root boiled and mixed with Gunpowder (injected as preventative of blackleg.)
    To stop bleeding: Crowfoot: chop up. Chew: put on wound to stop bleeding N.B. "Forbán" the Irish name of crow foot.
    For skin chafed ("scald" as popularly called) powdered starch.
    Burns + Scalds should be licked, as saliva cures them. (But some person's saliva better than others.) Cow dung fresh is also excellent for scald.
