  1. Some have done gallant deeds and are regarded as heroes, but in my opinion Mr. Johnson, Slane, is the greatest local hero.
    Mr. Johnson, on a motor-cycle rode round the "Death Wall" which is very dangerous. It is like a thimble, and the cyclist rides round on the inside. While performing one night Mr. Johnson's bike turned over. He clung to the wall until aid came, though his leg and arm were broken.
    Mr. Johnson is now working in Slane, and has quite recovered from his accident.
