    o'clock, and tea at six o'clock. Girls at work used to have to work a few hours before their breakfast. The people used to draw out the table on the centre of the floor and sit round it when eating. Long ago they used to make oaten - meal bread, wheaten - meal bread and boxty - bread. The oaten bread was made out of oaten - meal, flour, pinch of salt, breadsoda, and butter - milk. Wheaten - meal bread was made from wheat, soda, salt, and butter milk. Boxty - bread was made from raw potatoes and water. They used to eat meat each day at dinner and it was
