    The butter is lifted out with the butter drainer, and it is put into a butter-dish where it is washed three times then the water is drained off. Then the salt is mixed in it, and shaped out with the clappers

    It is four feet in Height and one and a half feet wide at the top and bottom.
    The sides of it are round.
    It is twelve years old.
    The parts of the churn are:- the stand
    the barrel, the lid, the handle.
    The butter is made once a week in Winter and twice a week in Summer
    The butter-milk is used for making bread.
