When we hear snipe (summer-goats or sky-goats) cry.
When the sparrows lie in the dust on the road.
When the magpies look for eggs in the evening.
A great silence, and distant noises sound near
When the magpies hop along the road.
When sheep are standing all together.
When a sheep is kneeling on her two knees
When cattle go in shade of a ditch.
When cattle come near a house.
When you see the plover in the meadow.
To see the bats flying around.
When the leaves of the alder tree shake.
When the "willy-wag-tail" builds her nest in an alder tree.
When the robin builds her nest in a poplar tree.
