  1. Domhnac Baoithinn
    Domhnac Baoithinn (Dún Bóinne) takes is name from Saint Baoithinn's Church, the ruins of which are in the old cemetery.
    Baoithinn's Cross was old name of what is now known as Rooske Cross Roads at Castle Lodge.
    Saint Baoithinn's dwelling place now now known as Bona [?] on Ms. Ward's farm at Gunnocks/ Gunnocks farm situated a mile North East of village of Dunboyne.
    In Salestown Churchyard (Salestown about 3 1/2 miles from Dunboyne on road to Maynooth) there is supposed to be a cave with a passage leading into the Duke of Leinster's Estate at Carton.
