- Milestown - CromwellThere are the ruins of a castle on Milestown. The castle was at one time called "Milestown Castle". It was blown up by the English soldiers (Jack Sherlock of Milestown has some of the canon balls which were thrown at the castle). There was also a Catholic Church adjoining the castleChrissie Hollywood
