    Easter Monday was the out break and on the following day the Military came to Dunboyne by rail and unloaded their guns and surrounded the village to look for rebels with the aid of the R.I.C. They found out where the rebels lived. the soldiers ransacked their houses and if any mankind were in the houses they would be taken prisoners. This was going on from 1916 until the Tans came over those fellows were all criminals that were let out of prison and sent to do the dirty work
