When cattle are sold luck-money is given according to the man's generosity. The man who gets it spits on each coin and puts it into his pocket. Sold cattle are distinguished by a slight mark of a cattle-scissors on their backs.
When show cattle are being sold usually the halter is given away, but in an ordinary fair the rope is kept. Special fairs are held for sheep and horses.
