  1. Some time ago there lived a quack doctor in Drogheda. He used get the bodies of people brought to him out of the graveyards that were not longer than three weeks dead. He would boil down their flesh and make soup out of it and give it to the people for medicine. The knock would come to the door and he would open it and the maid got suspicious of him. One day the doctor was out and the maid went into his surgery and she saw the soup. She did not know what it was made from, so she took a jug full of it and drank it.
