  1. Belpatrick
    in which is the the school-house and eighteen farmers' holdings.
    The Dunmore hill in this townland contains the graves of three giants.
    Halligan's Lios on which is a Mass Rock.
    In olden times there was an old Chapel below the school. In olden times this townland was well populated. There is an old lane called Dunmore Lane on which were many families about eighty years ago.

    There were Races held here about fifty years ago. The Stands were in the field opposite the school.
    The Horses raced from the Leaby Cross, by the Dunmore Hill on to the School. Dr Lyons Bishop of Kilmore told me he attended them as a boy when he lived here.
    People made great preparations and came from all parts.
