- Two people named James and Biddy Rucks lived in a house at the entrance gate. They were caretakers of the churchyard. They looked after the graveyard at the time the coachmen used to come at night to lift bodies to sell them to the doctors.
One night they came and lifted a woman. There was a lot of jewellery on her fingers. She was in a vault. One man took out his knife and cut off her finger because the rings would not come off. He drew blood, and the woman came to life again. She frightened the men.
She walked home and knocked at the door of her home. The servant refused to answer the knock(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
